CELTIC DINO (3.17 Chepstow, nap)
Can win the Welsh Champion Hurdle for his local connections. He held his own in Graded company as a novice and made a good start to his handicap career when third in hot company at Aintree’s Grand National meeting. He can improve this season and this two-mile trip is right up his street.
CRAZEE ICON (3.02 Goodwood)
Went down in a head-bobber at Chester last time over this trip. She likes a bit of give in the ground and a 3lb rise in the weights gives her every chance.
BACK IN BLACK (4.47 Goodwood, treble)
He’s been lightly raced this season and had a long break after winning at Newbury in April. He needed a comeback run before going close at Doncaster last time. He looks ready to get back in front.
JET PLANE (3.52 Chepstow, Lucky 15)
looked more than a bit rusty when fifth at Worcester on comeback. It’s safe to say he wasn’t given a hard ride and should show the benefit of that here. This trip is ideal and he’s had a little nudge down the weights.
