Roy Keane’s daughter Caragh Keane has had her fair share of health struggles, but she’s turning her experiences into something positive with her new brand. At just 29 years old, Caragh was diagnosed with lupus in 2021, a chronic auto-immune disease that made her bedridden for months. She experienced symptoms like blistered skin, joint pains, and hair loss, leading her to resign from her teaching job in Manchester.

Despite the challenges she faced, Caragh is now on the path to recovery and her business, ‘Superkeen,’ a gut-friendly cereal brand, is thriving. Her resilience has made her father, former Manchester United captain Roy Keane, incredibly proud, especially considering the health battles she has endured. In an interview with talkSPORT, Caragh shared her journey of starting the business and dealing with her health issues. She explained, “It was around five years ago when I started getting these symptoms, which ranged from really painful joints to hair loss and blistered skin. I thought it was because I was stressed at the time.”

Caragh’s parents, Roy Keane and Theresa, have been supportive of her new venture, joining her at food events and offering emotional support. Roy even promoted her cereal on the Stick to Football podcast, expressing his pride in her accomplishments. With her family by her side, Caragh is determined to make Superkeen a success and raise awareness about gut health. Despite the challenges she has faced, Caragh’s positive outlook and determination are inspiring others to prioritize their well-being and pursue their passions.
