Alright, so apparently Nottingham Forest is thinking about swapping out their head coach Ange Postecoglou for Sean Dyche. According to BBC Sport, Postecoglou’s job is on the line after a rough start to the season with seven winless matches under his belt. The big turning point came with a 2-0 loss to Newcastle last Sunday, which really put the pressure on the former Tottenham boss.
Who is this Sean Dyche guy anyway? Well, he’s 54 years old and has been chilling out since he left Everton in January. Rumor has it he was in talks with Rangers for a job, but now it looks like he might be eyeing up a gig at Forest instead. Dyche used to play for Nottingham Forest back in the day, so maybe there’s some sentimental value there for him. Plus, he’s got some buddies from his Burnley and Everton days who could join him as part of the coaching staff.
Not really sure why this matters, but Forest won’t have to fork over any cash if they decide to bring Dyche on board. With Nuno already getting the boot earlier this season, and Postecoglou possibly following suit, money might be a big factor in their decision.
